Devin Booker began his basketball career at Grandville High School before moving to Mississippi with his father. He played at Moss Point High School and received scholarships from several major universities. After he declared for the 2015 NBA Draft, Booker joined six University of Kentucky teammates who also entered the draft. He was selected 13th overall in the 2015 draft by the Phoenix Suns  and became the Suns’ first  rookie to score 30 or more points in multiple  games. He also became the fourth-youngest player to score 1,000 points in a  season and earned NBA All-Rookie First Team honors. Booker becomes the first Suns player to score at least 38 points in consecutive games, the youngest player in NBA history to score at least 20 points in 16 consecutive games, and the sixth player to score at least 70 points in a single game. Despite missing several games due to injury in his third season, Booker became the fourth-youngest player in NBA history to reach 3,000 points.
